iPod Shuffle 4th gen cannot play music and no lights but shows up in PC

I've been using the iPod Shuffle 4th gen for almost 3 months since I bought it at September 2010. Since yesterday, my iPod hasn't been playing musics or showing up any lights, same thing when plugged to computer and it didn't showed up in iTunes neither. Today, finally the light lit up when I plugged it into my computer and showed up in iTunes too. But, unfortunately, I still can't play any music. The light goes off every time I remove my iPod from the computer and it is not responsive to any clicks whatsoever. I've tried restoring the device and syncing all the songs back in, it didn't worked either.

SOME HELP PLEASE? thanks

Yesterday my iPod suddenly acts up and showed a red light when I turned it on after restoring and syncing a few songs to it. Then it said battery low out of the sudden I was shocked because it wasn't playing anything since the last few days. So, I plugged it in the computer to charge it and it showed up in iTunes but it kept on showing the plug sign on the battery icon beside the iPod name. I've tried removing it after awhile to try to listen it but it blinks 3 red lights and 3 beeps, I assume it is indicating no battery so I left it to charge for the next couple of hours and the same thing happened again. Is the battery dead or something else? My iPod is still under warranty.

I am having the same issue and very disappointed with this latest iTunes update. I have the latest MBP, Snow Leopard 10.6.6 and iPod Shuffle 2nd and 4th Generation. I obtained a 4th Gen when, all of a sudden, my 2nd Gen would not be recognized by my MBP anymore. The only way I could charge and load it with music was off my Mac Mini. I did the latest iTunes update there, and my Mac Mini stop recognizing the Shuffle 2nd Gen. I purchased a 4th Gen, loaded it up with music, blinking orange light, off to the gym, the 4th Gen shuts off after 40 minutes, came back to charge it, and nothing again. It only worked one day.

I saw a post saying to let it charge for 24 hours straight, so I am currently trying this. There is no light, not recognized on my Mac Mini or MBP, but when I touch it, it's hot. So I hope it's charging. The shuffle is perfect for working out, but this may be the last one I purchase if I can't get it going.

I am now on my 4TH iPod Shuffle (4th gen) in the last year. Each of them has had the SAME problem. It will work fine, then one morning it just won't turn on. The one I have now won't turn on and I have used it TWICE! iTunes will recognize it, although one of my previous one's iTunes quit recognizing. I can restore the settings, my music shows up, I can sync. But, when I eject it and try to use it, the green light won't come on and no music will play. I am obviously doing something wrong, but I can't yet figure it out. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
