Update server could not be contacted

I trying to update my iPad 64gig wifi to 4.2 Gm build 2.

Every time i try to update i get this error:

The iPad cannont be restored at this time because the iPad software update server could not be contacted or is temporavible, Please try later.

This also happends on my iPhone 4, its been like that for atleast a month.

I am on a MacBook Pro Core i7 8 gig ram, with the lastest updates that Apple has released.

The more information links me to this site:

After hours and hours error searching i gave up.

Started with Disk Utility and error scanning.

Got loads of errors, all corrected.

Still couldent connect to iTunes update server.

Restarted and ran the scan again, and got the same errors.

Suddenly the Magic Mouse went beserk, if i moved it a little it was SUPER sensitive. Had to go to mouse control and move the slider back and forth.

Even the mouse was at the center of the slide each time.

Mouse worked fine until i either restarted or when it came out of sleep.

Gave up and reinstalled the OSX with a completly format, and updated with current updates.

Now i have contact to iTunes server and the mouse is working normal.

Not much to be wise about but atleast now its working.

Update server could not be contacted
