itunes visualizer on music playback with apple tv

I want to feature also, much. Then it is really nice because when you have a party you even have some nice background lights etc. ADD please :-)

This would be a big plus!

This would bring parties to life! Come on Apple, must be an easy one to sort. Give me this in the next update rather than new channels I dont want.

I tried a "work around" that worked for me to get visualizations on my tv with my iPad 2. I downloaded the iPad app "Splashtop" which lets you see anything on your desktop on your iPad 2. First, I run a playlist on my PC upstairs with visualizations turned on. Then with the iPad 2 downstairs where my tv is, I just open the Splashtop app, and then turn on the mirroring option. Voila! I now have the iTunes visualizations with my music playlist playing on my tv throught my home stereo. I can also control the music on my PC using Splashtop. In reality, you can view, interact, and control your entire PC on your iPad2 remotely with Splashtop. It's also a neat way to view Adobe Flash on your iPad2. Until they offer direct visualizations on apple tv, this is the only "work around" that did the job for me.

@sambusak: I guess that is a workaround - but seriously, needing to run my PC to be able to play visualizations on my TV and then an app to control the thing... is a bit much hassle. Should be really super-easy to replace the album name that turns around with something prettier! Apple, read along pls!

Frankly I find it quite astounding this isn't possible..? Right now I'm using Air Parrot to stream my audio en video of my Mac to the Apple tv. It works ok, but this isn't what I expect from Apple.

I want to be able to do this out of the box.

Music visualization is very inspirational, it should be part of Apple. Next to that I think there's tons of people who would buy an Apple TV just for this one option. Talking about finding your niches. You could convince a very enthusiastic group of people with just this feature.

Mountain Lion will also feature this kind of mirroring possibility, so that would make it a lettle better. But still, it wouldn't benefit someone streaming from theor iPhone, iPad, iPod or listening to a radio stream.

I'd like a feature where I can choose to activate visualizations whenever I want and use different, community created visualizations, just like I can in iTunes.

Apple please fix this?!
