How to delete all events from iCal?

Is it possible to select and delete all events from iCal? Or is it simpler to delete the calendar itself? Thanks!

A possible workaround to doing this is simply typing "." (it's a period, but do not type quotations) in the search field in the upper right corner. Doing this will display all events in a list format. You can then Select All from the Edit menu, and then delete.

Sorted now!

To clarify for people like me: type "." in the search bar
Then click on the first item in the results pane
Go to the other end of the list, hold down shift, and click the LAST item
They should all be highlighted now
Then use Edit/Delete
NB it may take a couple of mins (or ten!) for the items to disappear from your view, particularly if syncing with MobileMe.
