equivalent to mouse click?

I went to this site on Safari on my iphone:

The way it works on a computer is you press (and hold) left click and the little circles follow the cursor around streaming colors.

So my question is, is there an equivalent on the iPhone to left (or right) clicking and dragging a cursor around? (they don't follow my finger or react to tapping, and it's not a flash game).
