Bleeping out swearing from home movies?

Hi all, I have a friend that swears quite a lot and he always has something to say when I get my cam out. I don't want to censor anything or anyone but I think he will realise how much he does swear when he hears how often I have to bleep him. Has anyone got any tips on how to do this in iMovie9?, perhaps where to get a beep to add?, or is there a program I can use that does this? Any help will be f***g great! 🙂

You can isolate his swear words by selecting the frames that contain the word, then right-click/Split Clip. Then you can loser the volume on this clip. It can help to set the thumbnail slider to 1/2 second before doing this.

There should be plenty good sound effects in the Music Browser that you could use if you want.
