Latest Update causes Itunes to Crash when Importing

I downloaded the latest version of Itunes last night. Before i had got the message for the update, I was importing my cds on the Itunes, to place my cd collection on my iPod. I ran the program, restarted the computer, and opened Itunes to continue importing. But, every time I did it, Itunes crashed. I shut the computer down and tried today, same issue. So I removed iTunes and downloaded it. Still the same problem. Is anyone else having this? Before the update, I never had this particular issue. Now I can't import anything!!!!

Hi Mookilisa ... the bug that caused that problem has been fixed in iTunes 10.0.1.56, available from here:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

So if you upgrade to that from your version 10.1.0.54, you should be able to import using AAC again.

I was notified of the update to 10.0.1.56 and installed it. Before Itunes ran flawlessly, now when I try to play any of my tv shows, it crashes... ugh!
