Combining different audiobooks into one, single audiobook

Hello,

Here is my problem: somehow one of my audiobooks got "split" into two different audiobooks. On audiobook "A" there are chapters 1-3 and on audiobook "B" there are chapters 4-11. However, they are all part of the same book by the same author.

My question: how do I go about combining the two books into one, single book?

Thanks!!

Hi,
Make always a copy of you original files before start to work on them !!!

MP3 files
You may be able to user this command in Terminal :
cat first_part.mp3 second_part.mp3 third_part.mp3 > newfile.mp3

or user this app: http://www.dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=tracksplicer

If files are in AAC format:
http://dougscripts.com/itunes/itinfo/jointogether.php

Hope this help

I know about making playlists, kbeartx, but that still leaves me with multiple files for each book. I have a bunch (dozens, actually) of audiobooks from CDs. They have anywhere from 4 up to 12 or 15 separate files (one from each CD). I totally forgot about Join Together, which I've used in the past, so the suggestion posted last November was exactly what I was looking for to combine each set of "CDs" into one book file.
