Combining different audiobooks into one, single audiobook

You may be able to user this command in Terminal :
cat first_part.mp3 second_part.mp3 third_part.mp3 > newfile.mp3

I don't know if this helped the person who originally asked the question back in November but it did help me today so I just wanted to say thanks for the help, Mauro.

Make a new playlist in iTunes and drag into it the files from Audiobook A and Audiobook B.

I know about making playlists, kbeartx, but that still leaves me with multiple files for each book. I have a bunch (dozens, actually) of audiobooks from CDs. They have anywhere from 4 up to 12 or 15 separate files (one from each CD). I totally forgot about Join Together, which I've used in the past, so the suggestion posted last November was exactly what I was looking for to combine each set of "CDs" into one book file.

There is a free program, called "Join Together" that helps with this issue. Fairly easy to use, unless the chapter, to be merged goes over 12 hours.
