How to delete photo albums from iPhone 4

I synced some photo albums from my computer to my iPhone 4, but now I want to delete them. I opened iTunes, and UNCHECKED the sync folder button, and a message popped up asking if I wanted to keep or delete the photos on my phone. I clicked DELETE.

After the phone synced, the photos are still in my Photo Library on my iPhone! And there's no way to manually delete them off the phone either.

HELP!! I want the photos off my phone.

Thanks.

This worked for me, looking for this answer all over. you think as many posts as I found about this apple would have this in there haelp section, but no, they want you to search all over and get extremely frustrated first. must be fun to watch or something. Myself, I will be avoiding apple as much as possible. Whatever happened to the idea that the Mac was so user friendly? If so why didn't they continue with this idea, there is nothing intuitive about the iphone or itunes. I still don't get itunes. I would love to be able to just sync the stuff from my iphone to the computer automatically without the stuff from my computer getting onto the iphone. For all I know there probably is a way to do this but I haven't figured it out yet.

Anyway thanks for this post, hope others can find it too.
