Apple TV Won't load library

I am using the 2nd generation Apple TV and haven't had a problem until today. Now, Whenever I try to access any of the media on my computer it just stays stuck on Loading "my library". I've rebooted the computer and iTunes, all software in the iMac and iTunes is the latest and greatest...Any ideas?? YouTube and all other features are working fine but I can't access any of my stiff. Anyone have any ideas?!?!?!?

One thing you have not done is on the TV Settings/Computers/Turn Off Home Sharing/Turn Off

Then Turn On Home Sharing/Yes/OK

That should sort that problem or do a reset

Hope This helps

Hi - My Apple TV Gen 2 will not load my library either. I've gone through each set up step, I've done all of the trouble shooting, You tube, netflix, everything else is working correctly. Home share is on, I've done all of the home share trouble shooting steps. I'm on the correct version of I-tunes. All ports on my router are open. I've reset the device three times. I am stumped.

Any guidance would be appreciated 🙂.

TRY UNPLUGGING YOUR ATV...

I just set up my new ATV this morning. It loaded my music library and worked great at first, after a half hour or so, I got the same issue; music stopped and when I navigated back to the library, it just went into endless "Loading..." mode. So after trying everything else, I unplugged it, waited a few seconds, plugged back in and everything was back up and running.

FIX THIS APPLE!

December 16/2010 - I have updated both my ATVG2 and I-tunes with December 15th's I-tunes 10.1.1 update and the apple TV firmware update. Apple TV will still not sync with Itunes.

I am very disappointed with the lack of attention that apple is giving to this issue. They must have known ahead of time that there were serious problems with apple TV G2, but they had no problem sending an obviously defective piece of equipment to market.

Of course apple will never admit to this being the case, but there are far too many people dealing with the same issue for it to have gone "unnoticed" by apple. Very poor business ethics to send a known "lemon" to market...

Stevie J really pooped the bed on this one. I'm Considering Google TV because it was THOROUGHLY tested before being sent to market.
