I use it to convert the books from MP3 format to the iPod format
When you say "Select the Apps tab (in the iTunes main window)" do you mean for me to click on the "apps" under Library in the left Nav pane? (I don't see Apps anywhere else in the iTunes window iTunes menu
Currently I cannot find the darn auto sync function to give it a try.
I've got apps on the iPad that are not in iTunes library on this PC
I know this was a while ago but i got the same problem. i looked for sync apps button but i cant find it and when i try to drag the app on ipad it just has the circle with a line through it.
" i looked for sync apps button but i cant find it"
It is a checkbox, not a button.
Select the iPad in iTunes.
Click the Apps tab across top.
Try doing this on itunes: File -> Transfer Purchases
cuz if the problem was from Appsync, the cracked apps that you downloaded WILL NOT WORK.
and also i'm sure you are using either installous 3 or install0us, check in their settings if you enabled: Sync with iTunes
More Reviews: How to transfer and sync contents from iPad to Comptuter, which includes transferring apps from iPad to iTunes.
Hope it help you out.

Why?
This transfers from the iPad to iTunes. The apps are already in iTunes.
