Using a Logitech Game Controller F310

Well I purchased this gaming controller because I have an emulator for Nintendo games and I needed to be able to play. It evidentially doesn't work. Has anyone else used this model? Or does anyone have any recommendations as to a controller to get? I'd prefer a USB model.

Thanks!

I have a definite answer ,,, i have a macbook pro 15 i7 ,,,,, and i got fifa 12 ,,, and playing with the Keypad was killing me it *** ,, so i bought the Logitech F310 '' wired '' although u knew from forums abt ''' it's not workin '' isue

solution:

1 - unbox the gamepad

2 - switch the buttom in the back from X to D '' direct ''

3 - Download '' GamePad Companion 3.1 '' from the App store it's for 7,99 $ btw

4 - launch the App

5 - plugin the game pad USB Port to the mac

6 - Press on the Logitech button for 2 seconds

7 - the software will recognize the gamepad

8 - nothing more ,,,, 🙂

if u have it for games specially fifa 12 ,,, it work magicaly and if u wanna switch from analog to keys in moving the players just press the button '' mode '' in the gamepad ,,,, and u can customize so simply and u will see fifa 12 will recognize the gamepad ,,,

if u have it for using it insted of ur '' mouse ! or somethin u will fine GamePad Companion very helpful to configure each button to a function and stuff like that 🙂

Hope my post helps u all ,,,,,, '' For who still thinkin to buy or not '' buuuuuy it works 🙂

I just downloaded and installed Lego Batman 2 and followed the directions about switching the switch on the back of the controller to D instead of X BEFORE you plug in the controller and the Logitech Gamepad F310 controller works great! I love Logitech!...and Apple too!

I'm using a Macbook Pro (late 2011 model), 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024MB (1gig) video card, and Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)).

hey guys anyone have a good experience using the F310 with GTA: San Andreas? it seems the game recognizes the gamepad but doesn't recognize the triggers or the analog sticks. If someone can direct me to a solution for the proper button mapping for GTA I would greatly appreciate it. Don't want to spend money on software if all its going to do is show me the controller is being recognized.

Download USB Overdrive

Download USB Overdrive, its a simple little driver that works, it takes a little setting up at first depending on how you like your games to react for each button.

I would try it on the built in settings first, but i promise it will work for the f310 on your mac. It may work for newer models too.

Its free but it pops up at log on unless you pay a little, and if I remember right they don't ask a price, how much you send is up to you.

all that does is keep it from asking each time you open it.

It does work and it uses no ram while in use.
