You're asking for speculation on something posted on the website. Unfortunately, none of us work for Apple and can tell you that. All we can say is what Apple has documented, and they haven't said anything about wallpapers on the iPod Touch 2G.

If you notice it's an error cause you see a facetime and camera icon on it which doesn't exist on the 2nd/3rd gen.

I also wandered this after seeing the wallpaper on the image, but I also just noticed there's a FaceTime and camera icon on all three iPod touches.

So I'm calling it as a ****-up

Thats the number one reason people jailbreak because apple doesnt include many features in older models even my friend who has a a ipod touch 2g has be driven to jailbreaking beacause of it limited features and even i have too

well guess what i don't get the features that r with 2g ipod and i got game centre but not the others
