Hm, will try this as well, but honestly: I don't think this helps. @Apple: Guys, you have so much money; just take a little bit and invest in beta testers. I am NOT one of them. The iPod app is one of the most essential things for me.
Amazing.. my iPad is stuck in "cancelling sync" for the iPod and videos, and after upgrading the iPhone 4 it says "no content" in the iPad app. It also shows that the music is still there in iTunes.
Are you guys sure it isn't just because Apple's servers are overloaded due to the massive number of people around the world trying to achieve the same things as us, and have their iPad, iPhone, iPod etc running 4.2.1?
Just leave it for a while IMO and see if it fixes itself
Had the same problem, solution was to sync the iPad with the Library on the Mac I used to update it; it had previously only been synched with my MacBook.
I had the same problem, (I just updated) all I had to do was close Itunes then disconnect Ipad. reconnect ipad my opens itunes by automatically. That fixed my problem
