NBA League Pass and ATV

If you have apple tv and have NBA league pass broadband, which gives you the luxury of viewing NBA games on your computer, will you be able to use ATV to stream the games on your television?

Also, I know of the airplay feature and the NBA mobile app, which will allow you to watch games on your iPhone...what will the quality of such games being "Airplayed" to your tv via ATV be?

unless NBA enable the ability in their app, then you won't be able to AirPlay them

Tried the mobile app - and no luck on the video transfer to Apple TV.

Quite frankly, I would have been shocked had it worked - given that the NBA charges $49 for the Game Time app video option and nearly $200 for the TV package.

NBA is now available direct on the appletv now (along with MLB).
any third party app will need to be updated before it can support video Airplay.

Does it support NBA League Pass Broadband for users outside the US? As in, users outside the US get a different NBA League Pass Broadband package than the US subscribers so I was wondering if the addition of NBA League Pass Broadband was only for Americans or all over the world?

I was disappointed to see when I updated my apple tv (2nd gen) to 4.3 that only the MLB app had been added on my internet sub menu, I have a league pass subscription and I will be disappointed if they have decided not to add this feature for us

if you choose "United States" as your location under settings, NBA will show up right next to MLB under Internet.

however, if I try to sign in with my login credentials for the NBA Intgernational League Pass, I receive an error message that user/password are incorrect. anyone facing the same problem?

I'm going through the same issue as well

I mean I'm surprise I'm allowed to use my league pass on my iPad and iPhone in Australia on the same network as my AppleTV but apple tv won't accept my account ... What gives and when does Australians get access because I've paid for it 😟

Hello,

The application you are looking at on Apple TV is for the US League Pass which is a different product for the International League Pass. At this time NBA International League Pass does not have an Apple TV application. If you have any more questions please let us know.

That is the most annoying thing i've heard... I paid for the premium full season league pass, i paid for the game time app. I paid for an Apple tv, i see the **** NBA icon on my 50 inch LCD and I can't login!!

This is a joke... NBA/Apple really need to sort this out. We get basically ZERO live games in Australia, it's not like you need to deal with blackouts...

that sheds some light on the login issue.

However, it is ridiculous that ILP owners do not have access at this point in time. I hope the service is extended to users outside the US sooner than later. There is no point in allowing international users to have access with iPads and iMacs, but restricting access for AppleTV.

I'm from Italy... I'm very disappointed hearing that I cannot see NBA on aTV2 using ILP... do you think it is temporary for a few days needed by NBA to update their system or it is definitive?

Does anyone know what you get with the NBA pass?

Is it the live TV feed with commercials and all? Or a delayed feed? Can one re-watch a game - or delay watching a game?

I went to the website - but the lack of information is a forte on their part.
