My iPod got locked out, to the point where it says "iPod is Disabled -- connect to iTunes". But, it won't connect to iTunes. I've tried everything. Can you help?
I have tried restoring my IPOD touch but it will not let me do I have a red sign on my ipod touch that says ipod disabled connect to itunes and when i do this, on my computer screen comes up it did not connect to itunes because it has a passcode that needs to be put into the ipod first but how can i do this when it wont even let me slide the slide to unlock to get into the ipod please can someone tell what to do.

You may need to reset. Important: Only reset your iPhone or iPod touch if it is no longer responding. To reset, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
hold the home button and power button until the screen goes black then hold the home button until the connect to itunes screen pops up. Then you should be able to restore your ipod
