I reset the time capsule to factory settings and now want to reset up a network and guest network. I get as far as the screen to create the guest network. I create the name and type in passwords and verify the password and click continue...And it just sits. I don't get any response or even that spinning color wheel indicating it is busy. If I skip enabling the guest network, it still sits on this screen. What am I missing? Thanks

    Welcome to the discussions, kadd!

We may need more information here, but you'll need to connect the Time Capsule to a simple modem (it will only have 1 ethernet port) to be able to configure a Guest network.

If you are connecting the Time Capsule to a gateway (combination modem and router with 3-4 ethernet ports), you will not be able to utilize the Guest network feature in this type of setup.

Can you provide us with more information about whether you have a simple modem or a gateway ahead of the Time Capsule?
