Klipsch iGroove HG

Does anyone have this?

My friend wants it for Christmas and I need to know if its plays music apps, My friend loves Magic and requires the Magic app to play and this is via the wireless network. In some reports I see that you have to have it in Aeroplane mode which then means it doesn't connect to anything.

Can someone clarify for me?
