I can't see the movies I purchased on my iPad. I sync them from itunes.
I checked that folder and only my music videos are there.
Did you ever find a solution to this? It is happening to me too. Thanks
I never has an issue with it, thanks.
As noted, they are in the Videos app.
Not working. Tried hard reboot and nothing. I have download tv shows and they do not appear in the videos section. Last night I purchased a show while on vacation, i got the iTunes store receipt, I downloaded it but the show doesn't appear on my iPad and now there is no notation on iTunes that I even purchased the show.
Any resolution to this yet? Movies/videos I have purchased appear in my account but not in itunes or on my ipad.
To be honest I am not sure it is the same problem, as I could see things in iTunes.
It was a very strange error. When the iPad was connected to my mac, I could actually see that the content was there, but it was not accessible from the iPad. I eventually did two things:
1. I rebuilt my iTunes library. It was spread over multiple disks since I have many movies (purchase and home movies of kids) To do this I put all the movies into a folder and rebuilt the whole library. Note that you should save all your playlists before this.
2. a complete reset and then re-synced everything. Note that if you have purchased content on your iPad by sure to do a transfer first. After the reset it will give you an option to restore from backup, do not select this option, rather set it up as if it were a new device and then sync from scratch. Since then, I have had no issues.
I hope this helps?
I had same issue and found that my restriction setting on my IPAD was set to no movies.
