iPad will not connect to Airport speakers via Airplay

Recently installed 4.2 on my iPad.
Using the iPod app or Pandora, I can see my enabled Airport Express speakers, but they fail to connect when selected. (actually, they've connected for a few seconds a couple of times, but promptly fizzle out and won't connect again)
Additionally, after a failed attempt at connecting to the Airport Express speakers, all other apps will not connect to the network until a the iPad is restarted.

The speakers work perfectly with iTunes on my Mac (via Airplay), so I imagine it's not a problem with my network. Also, the firmware on both Airport modules is up to date.

Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. I'm getting totally insane by this error. Seems like my iphone4 have the exact same problem. But on the iPad the problem is more intense. If i try AirPlay and it dont work, the network just shuts down until I reboot my iPad. On my Macbook everything works just fine. I got it working a couple of seconds but then it just shuts down. Reboot and try again. This MUST be a bug. Please help!

Have the same experiences... Ironically, never had trouble with my iPhone during pre (dev) 4.2.1 releases of iOS on my iPhone or iPad, but now with the released version, have dropping/ skipping from both devices (but not from iTunes via Airplay.)
