Tivo movies to iPod

Can movies recorded on Tivo be downloaded to the new iPod? If so, how is it done? I presume the movie needs to be transferred from Tivo to the Mac first, how? and then what?

iMac G4, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

the word is: first quarter of 2006 - the bad side is that it looks like you can only do it from a PC and not a Mac... I am guessing that you transfer the show to the PC (which I have done with my notebook PC and it takes forever!) and then you will have the ability to change it to the H.264 format and load it to the ipod.

I am still investigating how to make my new video iPod work on both systems...

Do a google and you will find a ton of info...

If you're on a Mac, take a look at www.tivotool.com.

Downloads, converts to iPod format and puts straight into iTunes ready for transferring to iPod.

Does assume a networked TiVo though.
