Why can't we upload files in safari? I don't want to go back to my boring computer to do something as upload a photo to a website or upload a cv to a job site

Because mobile Safari does not have upload facility. For security reasons, the iPhone does not have an open file system like a computer so there would be no documents to browse for uploading.

Many popular picture hosting websites have an App that you can upload photos with.

You could store your CV on Dropbox or some other File hosting service and then provide a link to it on job sites. This also has the advantage that you can update your CV after posting it by just changing the uploaded file.

You didn't correct me at all! I answered the question absolutely correctly at the time AND provided possible alternative methods for doing what the OP asked.

Whereas you, a year after the OP abandoned the thread, provided no correction and no workarounds - just your uniformed 'opinion' that what I had posted was "nonsensical", and that you find it "a huge annoyance".

If Safari does offer photo and file uploads from other apps please do correct me, and tell us all how to enable what would be a very useful feature.

The fact is, Safari DOES NOT offer access to a users photo library for uploading, and due to the security sandboxing of iOS apps, CANNOT provide the selection of other apps data for uploading.

Correct that.
