SCREEN LOCK EXISTS!!!! IN 4.2 IPad UPDATE

Simply DOUBLE TAP the home button and SWIPE the new multi-task menu that appears to RIGHT and you will find the Screen Lock Icon on the left side of this menu panel. Easy.

This is actually a good feature because you don't need to manually screen lock anymore and you can now change the volume and song of whatever you're listening to without leaving the Internet or book page that you're reading. I think it's quite good. just takes two clicks. big Deal.

My point is that there are so many people complaining about this change that it is hard to actually find the new way to screen lock! Some people don't even realize that you can still do it. The mute feature of the switch is inconsequential to me since I wouldn't really mute the iPad ever but on the bright side, I prefer having a software-based screen-lock ability instead of finding the tiny switch every time. I still think the best part is that you can change the volume, brightness and skip tracks all from one convenient spot. overall I maintain my confidence in Apple's decision and I am very happy with this updated OS.

You seem to have no concept about the relationship between product developers and constructive criticism from their users. My suggestion would allow each user to customize their experience - thus serving the entire client base.

Furthermore, this item did do what I am asking for previously. And seriously: do you buy a new piece of hardware every time something changes? Do you absolutly love everything the iPad does in its UI?
