Q: What OS for final cut server

Should I install on Snow Leopard server or just Snow Leopard?

What are the pro and cons?

I have a server in our office and FCS system and I am just thinking about combining them.

Thanks for the response.

mac, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

    Do not combine them.

Both should be OSX Server preferably.. but it is hard
to tell you the pros and cons if we don't know what you
    are using them for.

You can run both on one Mac, no problem, if it's a stand alone workstation. You don't need OS X Server in that case. You only need OS X Server if you're going to use XSAN or Ethernet and connect two or more workstations.

FCSvr 1.5 requires FCP 7 (FCS 3), and Snow Leopard (server or not), for best performance.
