Songs not copied as they could not be found!

Hi there, I am trying to put some music onto my ipod touch but cannot get ANY music on there. Each time I try to download any song there comes up a message which says 'Some of the songs in your itunes library, including 'name of song' were not copied to the ipod 'my name' because they could not be found. This always occurs for every song.
When I click on any song in my library it says it can't locate it. I've tried to 'locate' it but don't really know wht this means!
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious (I'm not good with these things) but I do really need some help. Is there anybody out there that could help me please?

When he asks you to locate the songs that means he want you to tell him where is the song.
You have a song called "S" and he says he cant found it, so, through the window he opens when you click that your going to locate it, find the folder or place where the song is and select it, click in your song "S" and then the Open button.
When you download songs does he ask you where you want to put them?

But if you have this for EVERY songs you have you might wanna try this:

Your iTunes may be "thinking" that you have the songs on a folder when you have them on other. This happens when you move your music to other place without changing that place in iTunes settings.

So, do the following:
1-Find you music folder directory (example: /Users /MyProfile /Music /MyMusic)
2-Open iTunes and go to "iTunes" tab on the top of your screen and select "Preferences...".
3-Then "Advanced".
4-Then where it says "iTunes media folder location" click change and put the folder directory of your music.
5-Click OK.

Your done then. You should put all your music in the same folder and then locate that folder directory with these steps.
