I want my old iPad back...mail problem!

I have a Yahoo account. Today I received emails, but was unable to send any? This is a new problem after "upgrading" the os... Can I go back to the old os? Is there something that I am missing here? I would like to "send" as well as receive emails!

I'm having the same problem. It takes up to 5 minutes to send an email. 1/2 of the emails coming from the same source also end up in the bulk mail account. I have two yahoo and 1 microsoft live account, all affected I've deleted and re-installed all three accounts with no luck. I've re-booted and then installed only one account, same thing. I get an error message (see below) but I can't make the changes. It seems that all mail is now running through Apples server and then the specific mail server that is sending the messages. One more thing. If I log on to the Internet and sign on to the account and then create a short cut it works fine. There is something going on with Apples programming that manages the nail accounts.

"the connection to outgoing server "apple.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. Additional outgoing mail servers can be configured in settings >mail, contacts, calendars.".

Help?

I'm having the same problem. I have four email accounts, and only Yahoo is exhibiting this issue. I've found I can temporarily fix this by re-entering my password in mail setup on my iPad, but if my iPad sleeps, the issue returns. I've has the same problem on my iPhone, as well, which leads me to believe its the new iOS upgrade.
Rumor is there's a new iOS a few weeks away..but this is a disappointment.
