$119.98 has been STOLEN from my Itunes account. Itunes account hacked?

Someone made 2 unauthorized purchases from my account early this morning from an app called "Original Gangstaz, 2000 Street Cred, Seller: Addmired, Inc". I found out about it earlier today when i tried to purchase an app and it said there was not enough money in my account. I reported it earlier today BUT I just received the receipt for this purchase a few minutes ago. NOW when I tried to report it again, I cant find a place to even send an email. Anyone else have this problem?

Also had the same problem. Luckily, after rumors of accounts being hacked, I removed my CC from my account page and use only Gift Cards for my purchases. I keep less than $20 in my account at all times. My "unauthorized" purchases were for "Musical Jigsaw" and "Musical Balance" by Ruixin Online. Luckily they only took $5.99 x 2. I have filed my complaint with Apple via online since they are closed for Thanksgiving.

Doesn't Apple realize that with their Store not being secure, they lose out on many sales opportunities? By the time I get around to purchasing a Gift Card to make a purchase of some app I may have stumbled across, I usually have changed my mind. Guess they are saving me money. Too bad the honest developers don't push Apple to take care of this. They are really the ones who are on the losing end of this ongoing scam.

2 days ago I loaded 2 US$50 gift cards into my Apple iTunes account. This morning I received an emailed iTunes receipt $49.99 for a free application, World War (merchant Storm8, LLC) and 800 World War Honor points. I checked my purchase history and found another charge from yesterday for US$34.97 for another 500 Honor points (in-app purchase).

Trolling these forums I found many people claiming the same thing happened to them with other in-app purchases. My question is how were our accounts compromised. I'm sure Apple will deny all culpability after they ban Storm8 from selling on the iTunes store. I remember something like this happening in June/July 2010...

I filed a complaint with iTunes support @ http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ and with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center ( http://www.ic3.gov). Perhaps if enough people complain, the FBI will come knocking on Apple's door.

In Apple's defense, they did immediately disable my account. Funny thing is, after they disabled my account they they told me to log in and verify my purchase history. They thought the fraudulent purchase might have been an accidental on my part. I guess Apple didn't read the part in my support email that I filed a complaint with the BFI Cyber Crime division. LOL.

My iTunes Account has also been hacked by a chinese software provider called "Lakoo" 2 weeks ago. 28€ were drawn from my gift card for so called in-App downloads. One of these Apps has been billed several times! Best thing is that the Apple support hasn't answered to my requests at all, although I meanwhile have written them several times. Phone hotline has cost me another 4€ with absolutely no result! I am absolutely dissapointed from Apple!

SAME THING to the SAME Storm8 LLC with the World War app for 1700 pts. So frustrating- there were 3 charges made thru my itunes account that is linked to my Paypal account. I immediately sumbitted claims through Paypal and my bank, and de-linked my itunes from paypal account.
After googling this, seems like much more common than I imagined.

What else can be done??!! This is such crap Apple. I am a loyal user and the fact that iTunes has been being hacked for over a year with no resolution is absolutely unacceptable.

WHY IS STORM 8 LLC still active on iTUNES?!?!??!?!!?!? TAKE THEM OFF APPLE!!This developer is clearly linked to these unauthorized charges. Currently they are listed as the Top in App Purchases - NOT TRUE! They are not authorized purchases!!

iTUNES USER BEWARE!

Same thing happened to me Yesterday, got a email from itunes saying account details had been updated when I hadn't updated it, so I logged in and changed password. This morning I've found an unauthorized transaction from Lakoo and iTunes notes that something is waiting to download.

Looking on Google this hacker's well known, why don't Apple remove their Trojans from itunes and ban them?

There is an easy way to fix this.

1. Get a new credit card and report it to the company.
2. Inform Apple. Open iTunes and click on your account in the upper right hand corner. Type in your password and click "View Account". Third box down says "Purchase History." Click on the button and it takes you to your iTunes reciept. At the bottom, it says "Report A Problem" If it's not your most recent purchase, you'll have to click on the arrow. Otherwise, it should pop right up. Click "Report A Problem" next to each wrong purchase and you can tell iTunes that someone used your account to buy this song without your permission. They should give you credits to replace them or your money back.
