Deleting entries from address book

Deleting entries from address book

How do you delete an address from the address book in SL???
I used to be able to do it in Tiger, but can find no way to delete an entry in SL

Help has nothing on the subject.

If you want to delete the person along with the address, then highlight the name in the list and go to the Edit menu and select "Delete Card". That will delete all references to that person.

If you want to remove the address from the persons card and not the whole thing. Then select the person from the list and then the "Edit" button under their data info and the red - next to the entry you want to delete.

Thank you for your response. I tried the above which did not work and found out that I had to go into the address book application itself in order to delete any information.

One has to go to the app in order to delete an entry in the address book.
