Outlook, folders, and bellsouth.net e-mail, OH MY!

Sorry for the subject line, I couldn't help myself.

I've been searching through the various forums here at apple.com, and I'm getting the sinking suspicion that what I want can't be done, but I would appreciate it if someone could verify it for me.

I have an @bellsouth.net e-mail. I think it qualifies as a POP mail account. I've manged to get it talking to MS Outlook 2003. I've set up a series of folders and my mail auto sorts into them based on the sender's address.

Can I get these folders to sync to my iPad? Right now, all I have is an inbox.

Yes, this is a deliberate bump, but I haven't gotten one reply in 5 days, and it has been pushed back to page four.

Let's face it, how many people even make it to page 3 when looking around?

For POP3 mail accounts folder created elsewhere will not appear on the iPad. For all type mail accounts you can't create mail folder on the iPad. Sorry.

Do you mean there isn't a way to make folders on the iPad for our mail? this is what I am looking for but can't figure out a way to make folders to put email I want to save.

also, I am new to the message boards. will I get a message in my email when someone answers my reply?
Just another quick question. is there any way to get the apostrophe mark on the letters page of the keyboard? I hate to have to always have to go to another page to hit the apostrophe key and then go back to the letter page to continue typing.

Correct - its not possible. Create a Gmail account and you create the folders online and can access all your emails there and file them.

if you subscribe to the posting yes. The default is not to get a reminder though.

No.
