Upgrading CPU, 7455 1.4GHz or 7447 1.6GHz
Was looking at the CPU upgrade for my 100Mhz bus speed PM G4. These is what I'm looking at:
-PPC 7455 1.4GHz with 2MB L3 cache
-PPC 7447 1.6GHz with 512Kb L2 cache (no L3)
Both priced the same. I wonder which will give me better performace? Will be using the mac to run Adobe CS, Macromedia studio other DTP task.
the G4 also have:
-1.25GB or RAM
-nVidia FX5200 128MB graphic card
