No Bcc: Option When Emailing from iphoto '11 - Lame

I want to send the same picture from iphoto '11 to a group from my address book, but I want to send from the bcc: field. I want to protect the privacy of the group. Why isn't there an option to send photos from iphoto '11 bcc:? Lame. Am I missing something? Seems like an easy solution to just a drop down menu providing the option to send To:, CC: or Bcc: Can anyone help?

If you don't like the new ways that iPhoto handles emailing then you can access the old way with a small change in how you work:

1. Drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Mail icon in the Dock.

or

2. Use the Photo browser in Mail - or any Media browser in the entire OS

You can then resize the image in the iPhoto Window

thanks to the poster who showed the work around but Highway19 has a great point. I too would like to send a formatted email template with a photo to a bcc list (my customers) but can't . This is a big whole in the feature.

I'd also like more templates and more room for text.

Kudos in general to the feature.

Being as this is your first post allow me to welcome you to this forum. These forums are user helping user, Apple does not post here.

With iPhoto open click iPhoto > Provide iPhoto Feedback. Express you wish there, it goes to team iPhoto. We then can hope in the next update our wish will be there. Myself, I have sent many requests to them.

Email it only to yourself, open email, select all, copy, paste into new email, make sure images is set to actual size. It looks sloppy in comparison, but it is the only work-around I can think of until they fix this flaw. This is a pretty big one, I would guess that they fix this soon. To think that apple can't add the most obvious and simple things to a staple like email, It is very embarrassing.

Go to Iphoto preferences, General, Email Photos using: Change to Mail and it will be the old format with BCC.

Thanks for you very simple way of addressing an old issue that had been huqnting me for a couple of years!
Kudos to you!

And, now that I have made the change to emailing from mail instead of from iPhoto, I can probably access the emails in MAIL > SENT MAIL, instead of NOT being able to tell whether something was, indeed, sent from iPhoto

AND, I don't have to choose which kind of silly graphic 'bulletin board' I have sent just plain old photos from, either!

Thanks for making my life a little less fancy, a bit less complex, and far simpler, too!
