Disabling HP apps on startup

Hello,

Activity Monitor always shows:

HP Event Handler
HP Product Research
HP Scanjet Manager.app

and they seem to utilize non-negligible memory.

I probably don't need all of these on start-up, do I? How then, can I disable them?
