I set to forget a bluetooth device I was trying to pair in an effort to resolve a pairing issue I had. But when I did so, I was never able to see that bluetooth device again.

How do I unforget the bluetooth device so my iPhone can discover it once again?

You will need to put the bluetooth device back into discovery mode for the iPhone to see it. Follow the manufacturers instructions for the device to place it into discovery mode.

When the iPhone is told to forget a device, it just clears it from the memory. Try and turn the bluetooth off on the phone and back on again. It will not "ignore" the device. One of those should do it, or a reset on the phone before trying again. I've used "forget this device" a number of times when testing particular bluetooth headsets for numerous phones. They will appear again as I stated.

Try altering the order that you turn on the bluetooth settings. First try to turn on the bluetooth on the phone and then turn on the bluetooth discover mode on the device. If that doesn't seem to work, then after turning them both off, turn the discover mode on the device first, and then turn on the bluetooth on the phone. They should be seeing each other.
