I upgraded to Aperture 3 from Aper 2 after trying Aperture 3 Trial. I now have 3 Library's. (2) named Aperture library with two vastly different amounts stored and opened different dates and (1) named Aperture 3 Trial Library that opens when i click on the Icon.
How do I consolidate them?
If you want to consolidate into a single library, use the Import->Library/Project command. You then have a choice to either "add" or "merge" the libraries together.
I am trying to do the same. I have managed to create 4 libraries unintentionally in the past and would like to consolidate them into one library on a separate hard drive. I thought your response was exactly what I was looking for. However the "library/project" option is greyed out. Any idea what I am doing wrong please?
Sorry - I am an idiot. It works perfectly but you have to select the destination library first and then to import. I had been expecting to be given a list of libraries and the option to merge two of them! Working perfectly. Thank you very much.
Yes, left out a little detail, just open AP3 with the library you want to be your main one and then go to Import-> Library/Project and navigate to the libraries you want to add or merge.
