How to search for all jpeg files

Is there a way to search for all jpeg files at once. My real goal is to find all of my photos and videos stored any where on my computer, and back them up on a separate ext drive.

Any help?

If you use Finder, click on your hard drive, and search on .jpg .

Better than searching for the extension: search for +Kind is "JPEG Image"+. That will include images with other extensions (e.g., .JPEG) or with extension hidden.
