Moving 'blocks' of songs to Playlist

Can I drag blocks of (say 15) songs from Music Library to a Playlist? Highlighting doesn' work (only one song will Highlight, taking ages. Any Ideas?

Yes.

Select the first song (to highlight it) and then while press-and-holding the shift key, select the last song in the block. All songs between the first and last selected items should now be highlighted. (Let go of the shift key.) Drag the blue highlighted items into your playlist.

To drag songs that are not adjacent to each other, press-and-hold the Ctrl key while selecting the individual songs. To drag these items, let go of the Ctrl key and left click the mouse in any of the blue highlighted songs to grab them all. If you click on a non-highlighted song that lies between two highlighted ones, all the highlighting will be lost.
