The problem started when one of the laptops lost its connection, password reentered, then worked after a restart.

Now the drive won't show up and getting the error message " error reading configuration file" - 6753.

My problem is now solved. I had my network "location" set to a group that did not include an Ethernet interface (my usual connection mode to the Time Capsule). Changing back to my usual network location regained access.

Too bad the error message is so cryptic. Why not just say "You are using a Network Configuration that does not include an Ethernet connection to your Time Capsule"?!!

Problem was solved by using an iMac intel with the latest version on the airport utility.

I reset the time capsule by pushing the reset button for 10 seconds while powering up. Launched airport utilities latest version, reset time capsule parameters.

Works good now, next I set up my Mac Mini server in front of it with the usb to ethernet adapter.
