Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.

Do a Web search for "eblaster mac removal" (without the quotes). You should find some advice in the results. In the mean time I wouldn't do anything sensitive (such as online banking) until you can be sure it's gone. If that "someone" isn't your parent, boss, or your company's IP support person, then they (a) owe you a compelling reason why they did that and (b) should no longer have access to your computer password.

Detecting it can be hard. Stay away from software for the removal of it, they are usually worse than eblaster.

Obviously something went wrong because in order for this to get installed, the offender needed access to your Mac, and had administrative privileges.

There is a program in apples software called atMonitor, it will show all processes running and give descriptions of the processes. But from my understanding eblaster and spector pro can change their process names.

*So the best way to get rid of that particular software, is to do clean install of your operating system.*

Just to be sure you got rid of it.
