slideshow caption size

I have used iPhoto 5 for a long time and have just upgraded to iLife '11. I find that the slideshow captions for '11 iPhoto are too large and often interfere with the viewing of the slides. Is there a way to downsize the font on the captions, and also be able to move the whole caption around? Yes, I know I can unselect the captions function, but captions are sometimes necessary, especially when viewing in later years.
