mini displayport question?

I have a mac book pro 13" 2009. I want to hook it up to a television that uses RCA composite plugs (might be able to go the s video route as well).
On my G4, I was able to do this without any problem. Now, I see that apple only sells mini display port to either VGA or DVI. Is there any way to do get one of the mini displays that apple makes to go to s video or RCA using a third party adapter or something? Kind of weird that Apple doesn't make this adapter for the mac book pro.

emac, pismo, Powerbook G4 12", MacBook Pro 13", Mac OS X (10.6.5)

Since you need to convert the signal with more than just an adapter this is the best and most cost effective way of doing it.

This will effectively convert VGA from your macs mini display port to RCA inputs for your TV.
