Iphone 4 ringtone not working

it didn't sound for all incoming call,the left side ringer push up,sound setting switch ON .Did many times and it doesn't ring at all.
SMS ringtone & facetime working fine.

Pls help!!!

Is the silent switch on the side of the iphone on?

Have you tried basics from the manual?

Restart.

Reset.

Restore.

i'm using 4.2.1 right now, and the same trouble occur..
no ringtone for incoming call, the vibrate also not working

try useing a dry tootbrush and carfully clean the connector in the phone where your charger plugs in ... it could be as simple as dust/dirt on the connector... give it try

You have to try the basic troubleshooting steps that have already been outlined to you as your problem is unusual. If these don't work you will have to visit an Apple store and see a Genius.

I had the same problem with my IP4. The problem was solved by turing the phone completely off then waiting a minute or two and then powering back up the phone.
