iPhone doesnt show in My Computer

I have an iphone 4 which when connected to my PC doesn't show up in My Computer.When i looked in Windows Device Manager , it is listed under 'Other Devices' with a yellow triangle .when i clicked on the properties, it says,
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
And when i click on update , it shows no driver found. I have the latest iTunes and iPhone Firmware . I even tried re-installing itunes but it didnt help.

does anyone know the solution for this? i can't copy pictures from the phone to the computer

On my computer the Iphone shows up in My Computer in the Scanners and Cameras Section. In device manager it is an 'Imaging Device' and I have no 'Other devices'.

The driver should automatically get installed by Itunes. Are you connecting via a USB hub or a direct USB port? The Iphone is quite sensitive the USB port it is connected to

USB port . In windows device manager the iphone is listen under other devices with a yellow triangle

Try unplugging the phone, deleting the device in Device Manager and then plugging the phone back in. The computer will (should) re-detect the phone and install the right driver.

You have to delete the device in device manager before you unplug it otherwise it doesn't show in the list. Delete it - unplug it - plug it in on a USB connected to the motherboard and fully powered and it should install the correct drivers

to view and copy pictures in windows explorer i have to open my photos on the phone, then plug in the iphone usb and browse to my computer/apple iphone and they should then show up.

There must be something wrong with the USB port, cable or the Iphone. Try isloating them one by one if you can.

You can also try uninstalling iTunes, rebooting your computer and installing iTunes. I'm not 100% sure the reboot in between is necessary but it can't hurt.
