The F4 Key

Hi,

Just a curious question about the 'F4' key, on the Macbook Pro.

I pressed this key just now, and it displays a calculator, timezone, weather and date calender.

I noticed that the timezone was set completely differently to what I thought was already on my computer (London GMT) and my location on the weather was set for a different part of the world all round.

My question is: Does this F4 shortcut outlay the actual settings for my mac? As the main 24hours clock displayed in the top right hand corner has always been correct.

Cheers

iOS 4

No, the F4 key activates something call Dashboard. Dashboard has a few small apps that gather simple information quickly. You have to manually change them. When you move your mouse onto the app, there is a small i that would appear. Click on that i and the widget would flip around for you to change the information.
