Iphone stuck in RECOVERY MODE !

Need help about .... my iphone 3g in recovery mode !?
hey guys i need your help =(

my iphone is stuck in recovery mode ( the USB cable pointing to itunes logo) everytime i on my iphone !

i hold the power and home button and the screen becomes blank and all of sudden the apple logo appears and the recovery mode is back on !

what exactly happened is that .... while i was trying to restore my iphone firmware .... the itunes crashed !
and since then on my phone is in recovery mode .... and when i plug it into usb slot .... the itunes doesn't recognize my phone in recovery mode .... instead it pops up telling ..... found new hardware ( apple mobile device in recovery mode) and the New hardware wizard pops up !

Need help guys ! =(

You can try using many of the softwares (IREB,irecovery etc) to kick it out of recovery mode.I used irecovery and it got me out of the recovery mode.

Best wishes, hope you are able to get out of recovery mode. But I do have a word of caution, dont try upgrading to 4.2.1 through Itunes, as I faced a total crash, and been stuck with a dead iphone for 3 days.Just managed to get it out of recovery mode, and then it went back to sleep again.This new update spells doom for 3G, I think if you have a 3G, dont upgrade beyond IOS 3.1.3. Although it will run at 4.1 too, it runs a lot slower and has more frequent crashes now.

make a new user name on your computer and restore your phone using itunes on the new user name.
then if that works
log back on to your normal user name and restore the phone again in your old itunes.
