Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

"Please use iTunes to sync music"... uh, I have music

Never had this issue before. I have a shuffle from 09' and today I decided to add a few songs... when plugged in iTunes recognizes the shuffle and shows my music on the device.

When I eject it and attempt to listen to music, the only thing I hear is "Please use iTunes to sync music"

Any one have any ideas?


FYI, I just upgraded to the newest version of iTunes.

Based off of my experience, I'd say iTunes is the issue

You'll have to UNcheck the "Skip while shuffling" for all your tracks
that you want to be shuffled. You can do this by selecting all your
music and doing Get Info>Options, UNcheck "Skip while shuffling".
