App Store and iTunes not recognizing apple ID or password
Hi, I can't log into my app store or in to iTunes store with my current apple ID and password. I can log in on the Apple ID website and change my password and other things but still can not sign in to iTunes or App store.
Whew, and here I thought it was just me. I had attempted to reset my password more times than I care to count before coming across this forum and seeing others having the same issue. Must be something on Apple's end?
I have pretty much got the same problem except it is only on my iPnone application updates, user name is my other/alternative e-mail address and it's not allowing to access new updates. The updates list is growing. Have tried updating my iTunes e=mail addresses but the account name is still incorrect. The problem continues. What is strange is that the updates had been working for a long time with my mobile me.com account, then out of the blue it changed to my business e-mail account. Why ?????
Just discovered this problem myself with a 3GS - tried to update a current app and my password was repeatedly rejected. I can still log in to itunes, mobileme etc with same password without any problem. I have not made any recent changes my Apple ID
Tried that. Also reset to factory specs. Even tried to set it up as a new phone. No soap. What a POS. Going to try Windows as soon as I can find some sap to by this thing.
This issue continues. I have password from old first iPod that I cannot eliminate. I can change password and old account continues to pop up. Can log in, can't update anything; consequentl yno apps have been updated in last few weeks.
Need some bright ideas from someone (or some corportation) on this issue.

I too have had the same problem for a while, important apps get deleted and re downloaded becAuse downloading is fine as it asks for my correct details to log in.. It's updating that's a pain in the a££!!
I've tired to rid of most apps and start again, I've changed libraries
On the iTunes account via the pc and have my own partition, I've tried resycncing a million times over..

Ditto...My 3GS indicates there are 8 updates available. I follow through only to get a message that states my account has been "disabled for security reasons" I have e-mailed Apple countless times and been told (same e-mail each time) to reset my password, which I have done ad nauseum, always to no avail. When I attempt to update through iTunes it states no updates are available. All other aspects of my iTunes account seem to work fine. This has been ongoing for two or three months. What gives? Can't Apple do better than this? Is anyone at Apple listening? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
