Software Update is in French!

A weird one.
Some time ago, my wife added French to the list of available keyboards in W7. It was only on there for 1 day and then removed from the options.
However, several months on, Apple Software Update still shows all messages in French!
Anyone know how I can change that?

Me too got this problem today and came here to report about it. Now i didn't get it in French but Japanese. I do have Swedish, Japanese and English installed as input languages but this I've had for quite some time without any problems. It was only recently this update app. went Japanese on me. So what have i changed since then?

*System locale*. My guess is the app. isn't using unicode thus is lead to believe i live in Japan. No biggie but somewhat disturbing. Prehaps there's an way to force the update app. to use a certain language? Overriding the locale settings? I won't look into this any further as i have more important issues to deal with but if anyone gets this "bug" you should check under CP -> Region and language -> Administrative tab to see what your System locale is sat at. I'd bet you, igmackenzie has it set to France 🙂.

Cheers.
