Drum kits: finger cymbals/tambourine?

I believe the standard GarageBand drum kits follow this.

You might have to invest in a third-party commercial set of drum sounds if the sounds in GarageBand don't do it for you.

I would look into Latin percussion sets, which include a lot of varieties of cymbals and tamborines.

There's a tambourine way up at the top portion in the editor in about any drum kit GB has. There are all sort of little sounds up there, so I wouldn't surprised if finger cymbals were there as well. I just write a note, then start dragging it upwards in the editor to hear all of the sound rather quick, and stop if one catches my attention.

Scott: You can do this kind of scanning without writing a note by running the mouse cursor up an down the litle vertical piano keyboard in the editor window.

Yeah, I know, but I find it easier to just drag a note. Then I don't have to click each tiny little key 😉 Plus, when I find the right one, I have a note in place to start with.
