Adobe has not been able to create a stable flash player compatible with iOS, i agree. But when Adobe does, it won't matter; Apple has restricted the use of flash on Apple devices running iOS, and rightly so. Flash is too unstable to run on a PC never mind iOS, and Apple would have to release more firmware updates to keep up-to-date with the constant updates Adobe is manufacturing.
Do not blame Apple for this; it isn't their fault that flash is still so unstable and still so unnecessary. I've been surfing the net for around a year using my 2nd gen iPod Touch and I have encountered the 'missing plug-in brick' icon approximately twice, which is hardly an inconvenience as far as I'm concerned. Look, the bottom line is that if you want to play online flash games, why pay £500 for an iPad when you can pay £500 for a decent laptop. The iPad was designed as a convenient, entertaining device used to play games, catch up on some reading, write your CV or whatever you want to do. Flash games or applets can easily be substituted, get an app from the Apple App Store or simply find another source for your information.

When I am searching many sites stop when the new window comes up stating that adobe is required. Have laptop and desktop but enjoy the small size of the iPad but get frustrated by not being able to see all the information I am trying to view. This is not for games but virtual tours of real estate for example. Some mentioned I should search but I have looked for an app that would help and found none. Thanks for responding to my question.

Didn't bother me and welcome to the discussions. Hope you will come back, you can get a lot of help here. I would look through the app store and also contact the real estate sites you went to and tell them you are using an iPad. With enough feedback they will see a market and make some changes.

Really, develop a workable flash for iPad and so many users would be thankful fo it.

Better speak to Adobe then - they haven't developed a working version in the last 5 years of promises which doesn't lock up the device.

There is no Flash as there is no significant demand - how do we know ? If there were, Adobe would have sorted it out and met the need.
