Volume Fluctuations

I have a ATV2 that is talking to my Airport Express. Audio via Airplay is fine for movies but for music I am getting a volume fluctuation every 30 seconds or so...It will get louder and then back to normal and it just keeps going back and forth for as long as I am playing music. I can live with it but it is just strange.

Any ideas?

Are you also using Airport Express?

We both must be using latest OSX and iTunes because I don't think AirPlay works on the older ones.

I have used the remote on my iPhone and also the aluminum remote.

I have used my MBP and my wife's 3 year old MacBook.

It is all music purchased legit from iTunes.

I am just using the HDMI Out and connected to the TV speakers, no external amp/stereo system.

I turned off optical audio out in the settings.

Anyways...just giving more info in case anyone has an answer.

Me 3, darn Samsung plasma. Same issue.

I also had to turn off the auto-dimming feature, because in the dark it kept getting darker and brighter. I thought the tv was going bad, but changes brightness in the show and the reflections it would cause must have been setting it off.

Stupid things are starting to think too much for us.
